Makes My Monday

This weekend, was dedicated to getting the race car ready for the race track in a couple of months. Steve on Saturday had to get the race car to a good friends of Dennis' for some advice and repair. Apparently, our race car is in between race classes, so it needs to be made a whole new car. While Steve was busy doing that, the boys and I cleaned the motorhome. Well, actually I cleaned the motorhome and the boys watched a bunch of Mickey Mouse. No, they actually did help a little bit, like they normally do!
He accomplished what he needed to do on that before we took the kids down to the grandparents house, so we could go to two friend's birthday party. The birthday party was at a karaoke bar and they love to sing! It was a great time didn't get home until 12:30am, but it was well worth the fun!

Sunday, we went down and picked up the kids from the grandparents, did a little more stuff related to the racecar and came home. After we got home, the boys had me make a fort for them. This is probably one my better forts, it stayed together the longest!

All in all a good weekend and we accomplished a bunch of stuff!

Friday Foto Finish Fiesta

Apparently, my husband and father-in-law now own's a race car. My husband thinks that he is going to drive this race car. Not too far away from our house we have a dirt 1/4 mile race track, and he is going to be a race car driver.

We took ownership of this above race car today. I guess it is a good deal for the price that we paid and can easily sell it for way more than we bought it for, according to my race car driving husband.

So this is what is finishing up our day. Tomorrow night we will go and watch the races to see what we are up against. For not we have a race car. Oh the boys, think this is coolest thing ever and is telling everyone that they know!

Play along with your picture that finishes off your week!
