Bronsen's 5th Birthday

Bronsen turned 5 today! (I am just now posting the pictures from it and going to try to catch up on my blog posts).

His birthday party was held at the local bike park.
Oh what fun it was! The weather was quite warm that day and the kids had to have long sleeve shirts, pants and full face helmets to ride their bikes.
Both Chase and Cody still have training wheels on thier two wheel bikes, but we took those out there and they rode.

Cody loved it and everytime we go by the bike park now he wants to go back. He rode the last two jumps and did very good after he got used to it. Chase did better sitting and playing with some of Bronsen;s new presents and stuff on the sidelines.
It was a great birthday party, with pizza and birthday cake!
Happy Birthday Bronsen!

Bike Riding and Bar Hoping

We were kidless this last weekend, the boys went with their grandparents for the night. Steve and I joined up with a bunch of friends Saturday for my cousin, Daniel's birthday.
We did this last year and wanted to do it again. This year we didn't get a room so I was the sober driver for 3 people.
So off we go to our first bar and our first drink...

The girls of the party! We had a great time. One of the many buckets of beers that was consumed throughout the night and evening.

The birthday boy, Daniel and two friends having a great time!

Fun times dancing and carry on!!

Last year I took pictures of the signs of all the bars we went to but apparently I didn't do that this year. I am kind of bummed i didn't because I have no clue where we went to party! I know one of the stops was PB Bar and Grill and we also went to the wavehouse.
Can't wait until next year's birthday to do it all again!

Birthday Presents

When Grandpa and Grandma's Jonas' birthday present comes to our front door is it so exciting that Chase and Cody can not wait to open it!!

Grandma Carol always picks out some super cool toys for them.

Chase was so excited to get this transformer figure!

An action figure for Cody the action man!!

This remote control quad riding guy was the best! They are having the best time using the remote control and the quad dude. When he crashes or flips over it's the best - according to Chase and Cody.

They also got an air hog helicopter thing!
They made out from their Grandma and Grandpa Jonas!! Thank you!

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Honey!

Steve is turning 34 years old today!

This picture was taken last year on his birthday. I had a small dinner party with just family. This year he is going out to dinner with his mom and dad, and the guy who building the race car. They need to talk about race car stuff! I will be going to a school parent meetings to talk about Kindergarten (which isn't for another 1 1/2 years, but I want to get the scoop now.)

We will be having a little dinner and cake for him in a couple of nights. The boys want to sing him Happy Birthday!

Makes My Monday

Today what Makes My Monday is being able to take Chase and Cody to their first circus! We went Saturday afternoon while it was pouring down rain and unable to much else. We didn't get very wet either from the rain.
They were very excited, but you can't tell from this picture! This is before the performance begins and they were (kind of) waiting patiently.
We actually couldn't take any pictures while the performance was going on, but the acrobatics people on the ropes were the best that kept the boys attention span. They also liked the trampoline guys and the tricks that they were doing on the trampoline.

Then this guy and this 2000 pound wheel thing came out and they were like what is that Mom? I said lets wait and see...Well, we were able to take pictures through this, but they are not very good because of the fog machine stuff in the air.
The guy is inside if the wheel here but he also got on the outside of the wheel and walked blindfolded. It made me nervous!
He's the little speck on top of the wheel. The wheel just kept going around and around with him walking on it and the whole thing would turn. They liked that also.

So right before the next to the last act Cody says "Mom, let's go." Well this is 1 hour 45 minutes into it and I thought it would almost be over, so I said one more and then we can. The next act was the motorcycles in the cage act. Chase and Cody couldn't take their eyes off of this and came home right away and told dad and grandpa all about it! They really thought that was cool. They rode around in the cage and did tricks!
-----------------------------------------
On Sunday, we attended Peyton's 5th birthday party at Peter Piper Pizza. Chase and Cody had never been there before and had a blast!
All the kids sitting down (for 2 minutes) to have (a bite) a piece of pizza!
Cody wanted to wear his hat on his face some of the time and acted like a bird with a beak...all Chase wanted was Root Beer to drink and nothing to eat.
It was a great weekend, despite the rain on Saturday...Sunday was a cold but sunny day!

Happy Birthday to Me

Yes, I am old today!

We are camping this weekend, here locally in San Diego. Should be a great time!!

I also wanted to wish my birthday pal, Kylie, a Happy 7th Birthday also!!

She is my cousin's oldest girl and was born on my birthday, she is so very special!!
That year,2002, on my birthday was also the year that Steve and I got engaged.

I have been absent and not giving much love to my blog lately and most important all my blogging friends. You see, the Facebook Farmtown game, my cousin and I have a little race to see who can get to the finish faster going on. So that is taking up all my time. For the last two weeks, I have seen nothing but fields and fields of raspberries. And for anyone who plays Farmtown, you know that raspberries will harvest the quickest and get you higher in xp points. So after this next week, (I hope) I should be back to my regularly scheduled bloggy updates and comments.

Birthday Party

We celebrated Chase and Cody's 3rd birthday on Sunday with our closest friends and family.

Cody
Chase

The party was held at a local park that runs a steam engine train. All the kids got to ride the train. It was a big hit and everyone wanted to ride it again, but we waited to long and it was closed. Just means we can go back again later this summer when we are looking for things to do.

We ate delicious hot dogs and hamburgers. The weather turned out to be wonderful sunny and bright.

The pinata was a huge success. Cody was able to break it open the first time and then we repaired it, because there was still candy in it. So everyone was able to hit it. We had a lot of laughs at the way the kids were hitting it. after it broke everyone to get the candy.

Of course we had cake and cupcakes that the boys and I made. It turned out pretty good. The boys decorated the cupcakes all by themselves.

It seemed like everyone had a great time.
