Two for Twos-day

Picture from Easter at our house. Chase and Tatum riding their quads and holding the new pinwheels they had got in their Easter baskets.

Notice that Tatum is wearing her Minnie Mouse dress that I made her also! It fits good and is pretty cute on her!

The two of them love playing together!

Two for Twos-day

Trying to get back into a routine and posting many pictures that I have. Starting today with my twosome! Play along here:

Chase and Cody on Easter at my Cousins wife's parents house where we spent Easter.
They were having a great time playing with their yo-yo's! Cody can't *yet* roll up his string in his yo-yo so Chase does it for him.

Happy Easter!

Our neighbors, twins Grace and Spencer, invited us down to color eggs on Thursday. We had so much fun! The boys loved it and colored 18 eggs so fast.

Chase was a little more patient and would put the egg into two or three different colors.

They finished beautiful eggs!

For snack we had freshly baked banana bread that was delicious! Grace and Spencer's mom, Sarah, had made it for us for snack. Afterwards the kids played and we had a great afternoon!

I have so much to post about from the last couple of weeks. Maybe after tomorrow I can be a regular poster again. I have to just see how my schedule is going to work out when I go back to work. I miss everyone and will start commenting again soon!
I hope everyone has a great Easter today!!

Easter

We had a lovely Easter with family. Steve's parents, grandparents, brother and sister-in-law and niece, niece and nephew and my grandma all came to our house for a very good brunch (machaca, potatoes, Belgium waffles, beans, rice), and a super big easter egg hunt.
Between the 5 kids (3 little ones and 2 bigger ones) they had 200 plastic eggs to find.
It took them a while to find all of them. Steve, Daniel and Tyler started playing h-o-r-s-e by throwing the football and hittting a different target.
We got a lot of laughs out of that.

It was a beautiful day outside.

Grammy made this very cute bunny cake.

Saturday's Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, we went a local park for a Easter Egg hunt. We had went the year before also and had so much fun, that we had to do it again. We met some of our friends there along with Tatum. The weather had turned out good for the hunt. It had drizzled the night before so there wasn't that many kids there for the hunt.

Chase and Cody waiting for the hunt to begin.

I got Easter Bunny Pictures with both boys!

Cody grabbing an egg.

Chase putting a precious egg in his basket!

All in all we had a great time!! We will be back again next year!

Baby Picture Sunday

This is as dressed up as my kids get for Easter. This was last year and it turned out to be a very hot day - and the shorts were needed.

Pictures with the Easter Bunny

Without the Easter Bunny.

The Easter Bunny came to town this weekend at a local photography studio, so I thought that I would take the boys to get some updated pictures.

We talked about the Easter bunny before Saturday and I could get a "I want to see the Easter Bunny - He will give me candy." from Chase. But all Cody would say was "No Easter Bunny." I guess I should have taken that as a clue of how the pictures and the outing would go.

They wouldn't even walk into the studio where the Easter Bunny was sitting, I got them warmed up enough to the idea of that but couldn't get them into the actual picture with the Easter Bunny. Once the bunny left the picture, the boys sat on the bench. We still didn't get a picture of Cody smiling. This was the best picture out of 30 that the photographer took.

Oh well, it was an experience and something to remember. Maybe Santa Clause won't be so scary in 9 months!
