Muffin Tin Monday, Magic Marker Monday

Last weeks theme for Muffin Tin Monday was Orange Theme and I didn't have time to put together a muffin tin in this theme, but I had one in mind, so when this week was a no theme week, I did the Orange theme this week!

It was all food that the boys loved!
Cheddar Cheese duck, Carrots with ranch dressing, Gold fishes, Orange Chicken on White Rice.
They eat it all! Chase didn't like the carrots but you can't ask for everything!

This week at school was the T week. For sharing Chase brought has black Truck and Cody brought his Tractor and Trailer. I also participated and brought Tortilla's for the classroom for snack. They were a hit after the kids got to roll them in cinnamon sugar and eat them!
The special craft that they did at school for the letter T was glueing Toothpicks onto a Letter T. Very simple and Cody's Letter T is being displayed in the classroom!!

Magic Marker Monday

Last week at school Chase and Cody made this cute artwork. They gave it to me on Tuesday after they had their Thanksgiving party with all of their classmates. They had some yummy chicken nuggets, mash potatoes and gravy, corn, and pumpkin pie and whip cream! The lunch was a success!

Cody is thankful for...my blanket, my family, my friends and my dog Diesel!

Chase is thankful for...my mom and dad, my blanket, my friends, and my dog Diesel!

Some great artwork and I love to show it off - Here are others that are showing off their artwork...go and check it out!

Muffin Tin Monday, Magic Marker Monday

A couple of my favorite things to do on Monday's are to post my Muffin Tin Meals and the boys artwork for Magic Marker!

This weeks Muffin Tin Monday's theme was: Food your Child was Thankful For!

This was Cody's lunch on Friday, everything that he was thankful for was also his favorite food! Grapes, Jalapeno chips, french fries and ketchup, string cheese and chicken.
Chase was thankful for pizza, grapes, string cheese, BBQ chips, french fries and ketchup. They each had a very favorite food which they were both very thankful for: a freshly baked M&M cookie!
This was a great time and a great theme!
=====================================
It's also time for me too brag about what the boys did over the last week in school!
Over the last week the boys letter of the week was H. Chase brought a toy horse to school and Cody his hat.
Look at these cute scarecrow men that they made. It was a pre-packaged craft that they put together. I think they turned out so cute! They actually made these a couple of weeks ago but they had been hanging up on the bulletin board for the whole school to see so I am just getting pictures of them!

Chase's is the one on top and Cody's the one on the bottom!

Muffin Tin Monday - Magic Marker Monday

I was so excited about the Muffin Tin Monday No theme day because I did a theme myself. I am not normally this creative but I really had fun thinking of this!

Chase and Cody's letter of last week was G and their is a bunch of food that starts with that letter, so I did a G letter themed dinner!

Green beans; Gummy Bears; Grilled Cheese sandwiches, cut into letter G;

Grapes; Graham crackers with chocolate frosting; and guacamole and chips;

and Gatorade to drink.

The boys seemed to love this meal and ate enough to make me happy! They really didn't like the store bought guacamole but I was lazy to make the real stuff. Chase really liked the Graham crackers and frosting and Cody really liked the grapes!

Can't wait for the next themed meal. The boys are really getting into this type of meal!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It's also Magic Marker Monday where I show off a art project that the boys did this last week.
They made the letter G in school and traced it with yarn. Very cute!

This week at school was the G week and for sharing at school Cody brought Grapes and Chase brought a giraffe (not a real one a figurine).

Last week at school, Chase and Cody's letter of the week as the letter A.

When they brought home this cute artwork project, I wanted to show it off.

On last Wednesday was sharing day and they were to share a toy that started with the letter A.

We took airplanes for sharing. We also at home made paper airplane which they loved to play with.

Magic Marker Monday

Playing along with Magic Marker Monday with these great paintings from Chase and Cody. Ever since we went to the rodeo a couple of weeks ago, the boys have been playing cowboys, trying to ride Diesel (our dog) and roping things. So when the theme last week at school was "Cowboys" it just fit for the boys. This is just a example of the cute artwork they did for this theme.

Magic Marker Monday

A week ago Chase and Cody had there art show and open house at their school. Boy was it amazing!

I had noticed that their teacher hadn't been sending home any of their artwork being done during the day. I was bummed because I was getting tired of looking at the same artwork on my refrigerator from Valentine's Day. But because I heard nothing but major good things about the Art Show I waited.

The school was packed with parents and children everywhere and hanging on the fence around the playground for every child was huge drawings or paintings done by the child.

Walking into their classroom was another amazing event. One every wall and every chalk board, hanging from the ceilings on ribbon, on the windows, artwork everywhere. Everything from finger painting to gluing on feathers to seashells. Themes from transportation to animals they had done it all. It was all very overwhelming. I of course, didn't know what to expect so I didn't bring my camera. Now everyday there is 5 or more things in there cubby to come home. I can't wait to show it all to you.

Magic Marker Monday

I would to show off some of the art work the boys have done this month. So I am joining in at

At school for St. Patrick's Day, their teacher made them these t-shirts with the green bows on them. Chase and Cody put the final touches on them by putting their hand prints on them in a shape of a three leaf clover!
