This picture of Chase and Cody is from a couple of weeks ago. I found this recipe for O'Henry Bars from
The Amazing Trips.
(I don't have the exact link of the recipe I will re-link it tonight when I get home.)
The O'Henry Bars turned out to be delicious and of course Chase and Cody helped with the majority of it. They put the ingredients in the mixer and then they patted it into the baking sheet. We ate the dessert that night for desert, gave some to grandma and I brought them to work. Everyone liked them.
I also wanted for my own record update on two things: Sleeping and Potty Training.
Sleeping: Both boys for the last couple of months are in their room, sleeping in their race car beds. We go to bed at 8:30pm I read three books to them and they are asleep by 9:00pm. They both sleep all night and wake up in good moods (most of the time). It is nice to finally have a routine and children that sleep through the night. When Chase wakes up in the morning he calls out "Mom" and I come and get him carry him to the couch and we cuddle for about 15 minutes. Cody sleeps in a little more than Chase and when Cody wakes up he will walk out and find me (usually in the kitchen starting breakfast). He drinks some milk on the couch with me next to him.

Potty Training: Chase is completely potty trained. He will go in public bathrooms both pee and poop. There is no issues, he has been completely good for about two months now. Every once in a while he will still ask for jelly beans for a job well done for going poop.

Cody is completely pee trained. He did it when he was ready no matter how hard I pushed him, he pushed back the other way even harder. I backed away and he went. He finally got the hang of it and has not a accident since. Now pooping is a whole different story. He is very pee and poop shy. He will only pee when he is comfortable, it's getting better for public restrooms. He only poops at home and in his underwear. The last two nights I have been putting him back in pull-ups because I am tired of washing poop out of underwear. He will not use the toilet. Even if I ask him did you go poop? (When I know he has) He will answer No. Like he is ashamed of it or something. After he poops in his underwear I make him sit on the toilet. It's kind of frustrating and I am just not going to talk about it. Maybe I am putting to much pressure on him.
Sorry that got a little long.
