Look what I won!

A couple of weeks ago Multiples and More Blog held a scavenger hunt which I participated in. They would post a clue about a fellow Multiple family blog and we were to find the blog. I would wait every night for that clue and sometimes stay up for 2 hours finding the featured blog. I had so much fun. Yes, during the 15 days I didn't get as much sleep as I would normally but so well worth it.

I found some great other family blogs and met some great people! When they announced the winner, I was so excited - I had won 1st Place!!
Now, I won Nellie's All Natural Cleaning Products. I started using the laundry soap on the boys clothes right away. It smells good and works even better.

I also received Nellie's Dryerballs. They are wonderful, no more static cling.
And if that wasn't enough, I also got this personalized beautiful necklace from Shannon at Little Bits of Me that I can't wait to wear. I just received it in the mail last night. Very pretty!!

It is stamped with Chase and Cody's name, with a pretty pearl right in the middle of the circle. Thank you Shannon, you did a beautiful job, I can't wait to wear it next time I am out!!

Magic Marker Monday

Playing along with Magic Marker Monday with these great paintings from Chase and Cody. Ever since we went to the rodeo a couple of weeks ago, the boys have been playing cowboys, trying to ride Diesel (our dog) and roping things. So when the theme last week at school was "Cowboys" it just fit for the boys. This is just a example of the cute artwork they did for this theme.

6 Word Saturday

Joining in at Cate's Show My Face for 6 word Saturday. My 6 words today are...

Two Boys Learning Potty Mouth Already
I would like to explain...I think I might be breaking the rules, but I don't want anyone to think that my boys are anything but angels.
I am thinking *hoping* that this is a phase of words like Poop and Pee. I know little boys are very interested in these types of things and with Potty training still in progress *when does it ever end?* Those words come up a lot, but my to angels seem to think saying it all.the.time is somehow funny. I am ready for this phase to be over with and another phase to begin...

What are your 6 words that describe your life or your Saturday. You can join in by clicking the button above.

Writer's Workshop & Giveaway

Okay so when I went over to Mama Kat's "Mama Losin' It" to find out what this weeks prompts were for her writing assignments I got very Giddy. You can go click the picture to see the other prompts and the other players.

I was already thinking of someway to introduce my new hobby and give one away. What a better way to do it. The last couple of weeks I have been very excited over this and my new craft and when I read #3 assignment I said that's what I have been feeling...Giddy!!

I found this tutorial on one of my favorite blogger's, Grosgrain, for a tutu. I knew I had to make one for my niece. It turned out so cute that I made 2 other ones. One for my neighbor's twin girl for her birthday
and the other for my follow blogger's to be given away.

They are so much fun to make, so I am thinking of making them for anyone who wants them for $12. So in my mind, I have been very giddy about this project. Something to do with my extra time, while I am watching the boys play outside, or just when I want to relax and make tutu's. I am just so Giddy as I type this, I can hardly stand it!
So the giveaway is for this tutu...

It measures about 19-20 inches around the waist, which I think turns out to be a 2T-3T, but it is elastic so it will stretch. The length is about 13 inches with some longer and some shorter.

To win this Tutu:

**Leave me a comment telling me you would like to win this for one entry.

Extra entries:

**Blog about my giveaway by linking my website to your post - 3 entries

**Follow me on blogger or if you already do - 1 entry

Again, this project has really made me GIDDY. I hope you are all as GIDDY as I am with this giveaway!!

Thanks Mama Kat for hosting such a great writing assignment this week!!

Wishing Well Wednesday

Tabi over at Tabi Rambles On hosts Wishing Well Wednesday and today I have a wish...

I wish that my back yard would look something like this...
Yes this. With a huge grass area and a pool in the back ground.

Or this would be okay also.

Yes, we are working our way to a back yard like this one day (not in the near future) but in the mean time I Wish that it would just happen over night.

Way Back When-sday

As I was looking back at pictures, I found this one of the boys playing in the ball pit.

They had a blast with all of those balls all the time. They would sit in that pool and play with balls, throw them, diesel would squish them, and I found them under the couch mostly.
I differently got my money worth out of those ball and that blow up pool. We still have a few of those balls around here but most of them got squished by Diesel, he liked them just as much as the boys!
I would totally recommend to anyone thinking of a good toys to get a simple pool and a bag of 100 balls and kids just like this!

Magic Marker Monday

Showing off more artwork that Chase and Cody did at school. As they were painting their pictures, the teacher, Ms. Lori, asked them what they were making.

Here is what they made...

Chase said "Ducks going in the water".

Cody said "My hands, I didn't use a paint brush".
Very funny, and great pictures that are hanging on my wall!

Saturday Snapshots

First time playing along with Cheryl's Saturday Snapshots

Bowl of half eaten cereal and the spilled milk not cleaned up yet. Becuase I am too busy blogging. Opps!

The boys playing with tractors after having some milk and juice first thing this morning.

6 Word Saturday

Great time at rodeo last night.
We went to the Lakeside Bull's Only Rodeo last night. We had awesome seats, where we were very close to the action that we got dirt thrown on us from the horse that rode by. The rodeo last way longer than expected because of some stubborn bulls that didn't want to go back into the pens. Chase and Cody did great for not getting back into the car until 11pm. They are both sleeping this morning. Which brings me to another 6 words:
Children sleeping in makes my day!

Friday Foto Finish Fiesta

The button above will take you to Carrie's blog to play along.

We received a shipment from Steve's dad in Oregon of the Cherries that he grows. Around this time of the each year we wait for the best cherries you will ever eat to get mailed to us. They are just so good. So sweet, juicy and delicious! This year really was the first year that Chase and Cody got to eat Cherries. And they had a blast! The red cherry juice ended up everywhere but so well worth it.

Writer's Workshop

Mama Kate has a writer's workshop going on today and I am going to play along with a couple of the assignments.

The first assignment #3 .) Tell us about Grandpa.(inspired by Heather at The Extraordinary Ordinary)

I lost my grandpa in October. He was a wonderful man and I miss him everyday. When the boys and I do things like feed the ducks at a local lake, it reminds me of him and how much he loved life and what life had to offer. He had a wonderful life with a beautiful wife and 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He had a way that he would befriend anyone, everyone was his friend and he would stop to talk to anyone, especially children. Toddlers in the grocery shopping cart was his favorite people to talk to he would always ask them about their shoes and he could always get them to talk. I miss him everyday as do many people.

#4 Which appliance in your home would you most miss living without if you had to live without.(inspired by Amy at Escape Into My Thoughts)

My Crockpot - Oh my gosh. I use this at least 3 -4 times a week for dinner. I love that our dinner is completely finished when I walk in the door from work. I wouldn't know what to do without it. I think my family would just starve! I don't have a fancy one with the digital clock on it. Mine was a wedding gift it has a little turning knobby. I put it on a timer so my food doesn't over cook. Oh I love it! The meat comes out so good and tasty and the vegetables are delicious.

I have done my assignment for the week have you? Go over by clicking the top button and browse through the options and see what you come up with.
