Seaworld with School

We had our first field trip with school...Seaworld!! We had a blast! Chase and Cody loved it being with their favorite friends and I love the price to get into Seaworld. We had to pay $8 per person. Wow, what a great price to see a beautiful place!

Chase and Cody being goofy and posing for some pictures!

Ms. Sarah and some of her class. We saw some cool things while we were there. The best part was the polar bears. They were very active and fun to watch in the new exhibit!

Chase, Cody and their best bud, Jacob. They are like 3 peas in a pod and get along very well together!

The 4 boys in the class with 6 girls!

Chase, Alyssa and Cody. Alyssa is one of Chase and Cody's "girlfriends". Alyssa told her mom the morning of Seaworld as she was getting dressed that she was going to marry Chase today at Seaworld. They were throughout the day caught holding hands, by the end of the day she was also holding Cody's hand!

Vegetable Cars

Back in March, the letter of the week was V. Chase and Cody's teacher, Miss Sarah, thought of a cute way to incorporate vegetables into the cooking session on that Wednesday.
She gave everyone a piece of celery, some cream cheese, raisins, carrots cut into circles, and toothpicks. She had everyone assemble the cars. Chase and Cody had so much fun doing this. I guess the only part that they needed help doing was putting the toothpick through the celery.

Of course, they were able to eat it right after they made it and Chase and Cody said it tasted very good!

I think it's a very cute craft and wanted everyone to see it!

Makes My Monday - Mommy & Me

What a great weekend we had!
We rode in the Lakeside Western Days Parade with the boys schoolon Saturday.

We had about an hour wait for our turn which we had to stay on our float and everyone did very well. But the weather was perfect sunny and warm but not too warm.

Bronsen and Braden (cousins) was also on float with us, so that was very fun and it was nice to be able to hang out with them!

I really wish that they would of let me tuck in their shirts this picture would have looked much better. But just to try to get them both looking at me it took a miracle so this is what I get!

Grandma, Grammy and Pop waiting for us on the parade route.
Play along with what makes your Monday here:
I grab Chase on the float and pointed the camera and this is what I got for my Mommy and Me picture.

Christmas Program

In the beginning of December, Chase and Cody had a Christmas Holiday Performance at School.

They both walked semi-quitely to the stage with the rest of the 3 years olds that were to sing.

Niether one of them cried.
And they sang and danced their heart out!

They all did a great job...Here is a video of one of the songs that they performed.

(Warning I am not the greatest videoer there is so bare with all the movement!)

Makes My Monday

We stayed home most of the weekend, but one thing that was a highlight in our weekend was Chase and Cody singing at the church that is associated with their preschool.

That makes my Monday!!

Chase after they sang listening to the pastor.

Cody sitting on Ms. Lori's lap after singing. I couldn't see Cody that well to where I was sitting and he was standing up on stage but he seemed a little nervous or teary eyed, but once they sat down and Ms. Lori was there he was okay.

Pop and Grammy came with us to hear them sing. The preschoolers sang was quite well and the whole congression loved it with a standing ovation!

Here are the two video's of the three songs. You can see Chase in it as it's panning across the group of kids but you can't see Cody as he standing behind a tall kid :(

Muffin Tin Monday, Magic Marker Monday

A couple of my favorite things to do on Monday's are to post my Muffin Tin Meals and the boys artwork for Magic Marker!

This weeks Muffin Tin Monday's theme was: Food your Child was Thankful For!

This was Cody's lunch on Friday, everything that he was thankful for was also his favorite food! Grapes, Jalapeno chips, french fries and ketchup, string cheese and chicken.
Chase was thankful for pizza, grapes, string cheese, BBQ chips, french fries and ketchup. They each had a very favorite food which they were both very thankful for: a freshly baked M&M cookie!
This was a great time and a great theme!
=====================================
It's also time for me too brag about what the boys did over the last week in school!
Over the last week the boys letter of the week was H. Chase brought a toy horse to school and Cody his hat.
Look at these cute scarecrow men that they made. It was a pre-packaged craft that they put together. I think they turned out so cute! They actually made these a couple of weeks ago but they had been hanging up on the bulletin board for the whole school to see so I am just getting pictures of them!

Chase's is the one on top and Cody's the one on the bottom!

Chase and Cody Singing

This is a song that they have learnt at school and they sing it at home. I just captured it on tape so I can use it against them when they become professional singers!!

Muffin Tin Monday, Magic Marker Monday

Combining a couple of memes today.
I will start with Muffin Tin Monday. We had a theme of Outer Space.
You really *must* use your imagination for this meal.Cheese stars, hard boil egg (I was going to make this into a alien, but it got ate before I was able to), rocket ship pb&j sandwich and space balls.
I wanted to do more but I guess my kids were hungry because they started eating it right away and didn't have a chance to do anything else.
I really like putting my thinking cap on for this meme. I have even started looking things up on the web for idea's. Can't wait to see what your Muffin Tin Meal was.

Magic Marker Monday
I love showing off the boys artwork, so this a perfect meme for me to play along with. This last week they finger painted big pumpkins.

Chase's orange pumpkin
Cody's orange Pumpkin
Last weeks letter was also F. We had fun with this letter. Chase really wanted to bring his football to school, so since it was F week it worked out good. When I was mentioning things to the boys that started with F, I came to flower and Cody's eyes got all big and Asked if he could take a special Flower to Ms. Sarah. I said yes that would be very sweet and she would like that. For the next few days before sharing day he made sure I wasn't going to forget Ms. Sarah's flower.

I had to take a picture of him and the flower that he was going to give to Ms. Sarah. He was so proud of his flower and ran it to her at school. I guess he told everyone at school that he gave her a flower!

Another Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Last week we went to the pumpkin patch with Chase and Cody's school. They had so much fun. We went to Oma's Pumpkin Patch.

It is a great pumpkin patch and great place to play!

Cody, Chase and their best friend Jacob.

Their teacher and classmates

Waiting for a turn on the hay ride.

The coolest thing about this pumpkin patch is that it is a working dairy farm. This stuff that the boys are sliding down in is Cotton Seed. They grow the cotton seed on site and feed it to the cows along with grain and hay.
This Cotton Seed was the place to be with the plastic disks to slide down. They had a good time!

Tomorrow is sharing day in the boys classroom, what type of things does your child bring to share. I am needing idea's for this. Any suggestions of cool things to bring into class for sharing.
