So looking through old photo's and found this one of Cody and I at the Destruction Derby in 2006. play along here:

Steve and I are hosting a bunch today for his mom and grandma and my grandma. We are having - Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, french toast casserole, fruit (and chocolate to dip the fruit in), and a citrus cream smoothie to drink.

After we eat, I will post pictures and recipes. I also have some special homemade gift that the boys and I did for everyone and I will show you those also sometime!!

Baby Picture Sunday

Baby Picture Sunday is back over at Debi's and I love going through old picture to come up with the picture that matches the theme.



Today's theme is Mellow Yellow and I didn't know if I would find the boys dressed in yellow. I know that yellow isn't one of their favorite colors and at this time I don't think either of them own a yellow shirt. But back when mom was dressing them, apparently they wore yellow.

Baby Picture Sunday

Today's theme is Feels like Spring for Baby Picture Sunday. So today I am actually not featuring a child in my Baby Picture Sunday, but the picture differently says the Spring is almost here...

When I saw these California Poppies in my grandma yard the other day, I knew that Spring is coming. They are beautiful. My grandfather planted a bunch of them years ago and they still come back in the spring.

This week's theme is ARMY CRAWL. Neither one was really a army crawler, that I can remember, not for any length of time, but I found this cute picture of Chase and he was in the position of a army crawl and I am sure that he was scooting a little bit on that blanket!

So it might not be a complete Pool but it is Drool!

This was fun! I found a bunch of pictures as I was looking for drool pictures that I hadn't seen in a while. Love going through my pictures and looking around at how fast they are growing up!

Baby Picture Sunday

All I could think of for this was the love that I felt/feel for my boys. It was completely love at first sight, will with a little more sleep it got to be much more love! (Anyone with mulitples or a newborn for that matter's knows what I am talking about!!)

I don't have many picture of the boys and I because it seems as I am always behind the camera, but I truely love this picture. Cody is the little one on my lap and Chase is laying on the pillow. They are 10 days old in this picture.

Any picture that they are both *kind of* looking, but still at least both facing the camera with no back shots are good enough to frame in my opinion. At this age they don't like their picture taken and I think it's just going to get worse as they get older.

I haven't played along with Debi for a couple of weeks just because I have forgot to post something, and it seems like our weekends go by pretty fast.

So when I saw that the theme was Mother's helpers in knew that I had pictures that would fit into this category!


Chase just recently helping me mop the floors. They love this and I can't mop the floors without them helping. The job doesn't get done as good if I could do it by myself, but literally I can't touch the sweeper wet mop or the dry vacuum things without them running to "help". So I let them do it and I sit and watch!!

5 months old

They had peach fuzz haid until about 10 months old. Then their real hair started to come in but not fast. Now it seems like they need a hiar cut every 6 weeks!

After looking for pictures of the boys and fruit or veggies I came across these wonderful pictures.

6 months old!

I love looking back at old pictures and then having a theme to look for certain pictures is a bunch of fun! Join us and have just as much fun!

I have came to the conclusion that during the first 6 months or so of the boys existence I thought I was taking a lot of pictures of them, but now looking back it seems like I could of (should have) taken more. I barely had any of them eating, I guess just getting them fed was a chore in itself let alone trying to take a picture of it! I will cherish the pictures I have just that much more!
