Muffin Tin Monday

It's time again that I fixed the boys a special meal to go along with the themes of

This weeks theme is Leftovers Rock...

We don't eat much leftovers, but I had a few things that I just threw together for the boys to eat.

White rice, and brown rice (with BBQ sauce on it), green beans, lasagna and a piece of bread with butter.

Chase wasn't feeling well that night and didn't eat anything. Cody ate his white rice, bread and butter and a few green beans.

Red ketchup, Orange chicken nuggets, yellow popcorn, green beans, and a blueberry shake. Couldn't think of anything purple!

Pop and Grammy gave us this trays also, aren't' they cute? I really liked making a dinner with them. They are perfect for the boys "special" lunch/dinner's!

Muffin Tin Monday, Magic Marker Monday

It's Monday and time for another Muffin Tin Monday. This weeks theme was No theme. It's a time to do your own thing.

I took just a regular meal of wild rice with BBQ sauce, green beans with sour cream mixed in, meatballs with BBQ sauce and chiro's in my new 4 divider plates that I bought at the dollar store!

Chase and Cody loved this meal, since it's all their favorite food! Play along also here:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Chase and Cody made these great leprechauns with their hand prints at school and I wanted to show them off! The black hat is made with construction paper and glued on. It was a cute project that I hadn't seen done before!

For lunch today, I fixed the boys a Muffin Tin Lunch. The theme this week is YELLOW...

I knew I wanted to continue doing this, because the boys really like having a special lunch!

My picture is turned wrong but, I fixed them potato chips (kind of yellow), corn onthe cob, vanilla pudding with yellow food coloring, popcorn, egg salad, and pineapples.
Cody loved the pineapples and Chase loved the pudding! They both loved the corn on the cob...
Can't wait until next week theme of Green!!

Muffin Tin Monday, Magic Marker Monday

Last weeks theme for Muffin Tin Monday was Orange Theme and I didn't have time to put together a muffin tin in this theme, but I had one in mind, so when this week was a no theme week, I did the Orange theme this week!

It was all food that the boys loved!
Cheddar Cheese duck, Carrots with ranch dressing, Gold fishes, Orange Chicken on White Rice.
They eat it all! Chase didn't like the carrots but you can't ask for everything!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This week at school was the T week. For sharing Chase brought has black Truck and Cody brought his Tractor and Trailer. I also participated and brought Tortilla's for the classroom for snack. They were a hit after the kids got to roll them in cinnamon sugar and eat them!
The special craft that they did at school for the letter T was glueing Toothpicks onto a Letter T. Very simple and Cody's Letter T is being displayed in the classroom!!

Muffin Tin Monday, Magic Marker Monday

Playing along with two Monday Memes today. I really have fun with both of these!
Muffin Tin Monday is where you create a meal with the theme of the week posted by Michelle
This weeks theme was the color RED. There are a lot of food that is red and had fun making it and the boys had fun eating it!
Top row: Spiral pasta with red sauce, Red Jello, 7 Red M&M's,
Bottom row: RED spelled out made out of red butter and bread.
This was a fun theme and can't wait to do next weeks theme! Play along also if you want to, pop on over to Michelle's blog!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The other Meme for Monday that I like is Magic Marker Monday! Love showing off cute artwork that the boys have made. This is a way so I don't have to keep it all, I just have digital records of it!
A few Valentine crafts that they made at school!
A heart with a pocket for trading Valentine's at school! They stamped it in paint with cookie cutter and then put some glitter on it also!
These are their Valentine cards to me asking "Will you Bee my Valentine?" A foot print covers the cover of the card. On the inside they colored a special picture for me in scribbles!

Muffin Tin Monday

I had a good time with this Muffin Tin Monday! Join in and see the other awesome Meals!

Today's theme is: Dr. Seuss.

One of our favorite books right now is:

I guess it's not an actual book written by him, but it's in the books that he endorses (Is that good enough?)

I have been having fun with the cookie cut outs lately and thought I would try the dog and bone one for this meal.
An Apple, Vanilla pudding, chips
Bread cut out like a dog in between a bone cut out of turkey meat and cheese underneath it.

The boys loved it and ate the whole thing!!

Muffin Tin Monday

This week there was no theme for Muffin Tin Monday. I knew I wanted to get back into doing this every week, and knew on Friday that this was the way to do it.

Click the button below to see other great Tin Meals!

I just used on tray for both boys, and it worked great. They didn't fight over whose was what stuff or who got to have the tray closer to them.
I put apples, Carmel for dipping apples, yogurt covered pretzels, and spaghetti O's and Gatorade to drink.
They actually ate it all expect for some of the Speghetti O's. It was a good lunch! And they were excited to have another Muffin Tin Meal!

Muffin Tin Monday, Magic Marker Monday

It's Monday again, and I have my two of my favorite things to do with the kids, Muffin Tin Meals and also showing off their artwork!

First, their artwork. I am still showing off some of their fabulous pieces of finger painting for autumn.

Chase's leaf.

Cody's leaf!

As for sharing last week, was the letter K. Chase brought a old Key that I had laying around and Cody brought a picture of a Koala! They both thought their letter K's were pretty fun!

=================================================

Now for the Muffin Tin Meal on Monday. The theme Christmas morning (aka Breakfast)!
We don't have a traditional breakfast that we do on Christmas morning. Most of the time's it's something easy like donuts and fruit, but since they boys are eating waffles right now I threw in a waffle and eggs for the Muffin Tin Meal!

Eggs, syrup, pop tart, and waffle!

Muffin Tin Monday, Magic Marker Monday

A couple of my favorite things to do on Monday's are to post my Muffin Tin Meals and the boys artwork for Magic Marker!

This weeks Muffin Tin Monday's theme was: Food your Child was Thankful For!

This was Cody's lunch on Friday, everything that he was thankful for was also his favorite food! Grapes, Jalapeno chips, french fries and ketchup, string cheese and chicken.
Chase was thankful for pizza, grapes, string cheese, BBQ chips, french fries and ketchup. They each had a very favorite food which they were both very thankful for: a freshly baked M&M cookie!
This was a great time and a great theme!
=====================================
It's also time for me too brag about what the boys did over the last week in school!
Over the last week the boys letter of the week was H. Chase brought a toy horse to school and Cody his hat.
Look at these cute scarecrow men that they made. It was a pre-packaged craft that they put together. I think they turned out so cute! They actually made these a couple of weeks ago but they had been hanging up on the bulletin board for the whole school to see so I am just getting pictures of them!

Chase's is the one on top and Cody's the one on the bottom!

Muffin Tin Monday - Magic Marker Monday

I was so excited about the Muffin Tin Monday No theme day because I did a theme myself. I am not normally this creative but I really had fun thinking of this!

Chase and Cody's letter of last week was G and their is a bunch of food that starts with that letter, so I did a G letter themed dinner!

Green beans; Gummy Bears; Grilled Cheese sandwiches, cut into letter G;

Grapes; Graham crackers with chocolate frosting; and guacamole and chips;

and Gatorade to drink.

The boys seemed to love this meal and ate enough to make me happy! They really didn't like the store bought guacamole but I was lazy to make the real stuff. Chase really liked the Graham crackers and frosting and Cody really liked the grapes!

Can't wait for the next themed meal. The boys are really getting into this type of meal!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It's also Magic Marker Monday where I show off a art project that the boys did this last week.
They made the letter G in school and traced it with yarn. Very cute!

This week at school was the G week and for sharing at school Cody brought Grapes and Chase brought a giraffe (not a real one a figurine).
