Without the Easter Bunny.
The Easter Bunny came to town this weekend at a local photography studio, so I thought that I would take the boys to get some updated pictures.
We talked about the Easter bunny before Saturday and I could get a "I want to see the Easter Bunny - He will give me candy." from Chase. But all Cody would say was "No Easter Bunny." I guess I should have taken that as a clue of how the pictures and the outing would go.
They wouldn't even walk into the studio where the Easter Bunny was sitting, I got them warmed up enough to the idea of that but couldn't get them into the actual picture with the Easter Bunny. Once the bunny left the picture, the boys sat on the bench. We still didn't get a picture of Cody smiling. This was the best picture out of 30 that the photographer took.
Oh well, it was an experience and something to remember. Maybe Santa Clause won't be so scary in 9 months!

lydia used to be the same way about any + all people in costumes. we would have to walk giant circles to avoid even being within sight of them! the picture turned out really cute, despite no bunny.

It never turns out the way you plan! The picture is cute regardless and best of all it has a story to go along with it.
At first when I started reading I thought, that is a good idea i should see if the Easter bunny is here in Yuma, but then I read on to learn that it may not be the best idea. Poor little guys, I guess it is just too soon for big scarry characters, maybe next year. I really like the background in the photo though, very cute.
