To reflect upon the year, I am copying my fellow blogger in capturing 2008 highlights and low lights.


1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
I left the boys for 2 nights in a row.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make a resolution last year and probably won't again.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes, my friend Leslie had a boy named Jack.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes

5. What countries did you visit?
None

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
More time spending with family

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
June 5, 2008 - Chase and Cody's 2nd birthday
October 14, 2008 - My grandfathers death

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Losing the last 10 pounds of baby weight.

9. What was your biggest failure?
And then gaining the weight back (or most of it).

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes - a abscess that ended up infected on my face

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Laptop computer

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Chase and Cody's

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
None

14. Where did most of your money go?
Mortgage and Daycare

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Chase and Cody

Jingle Bells - Chase and Cody had to learn this song for their Christmas performance.

Camping

The boys learning how to "sing" Pour Some Sugar on Me"

I am not a movie person

I was 34. I worked during the day and went to the thunderboat camping that night.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Winning the lottery.

Comfy

Chase and Cody

Don't really keep up.
