Sewing and Reading

Presenting my latest quilt...

I made this one from the same pattern as my last quilt. I think it turned out good. They are so easy to make and I gave this one to Chase. He really liked it, but I think Cody was just as excited about the finished product.

I think I would like to make more of these and would like to try to put together another one more girlish and see how it turns out.

Now off to the fabric store to see what I can come up with to do next!

----------------------------------------------------------

I have finished reading my latest book...3rd series of the Manning Series - The Manning Grooms. Very good series of books. I loved reading books like that and it sweeps me away into a different time, place and life.

I will have to go now to the used book store and see what I can find to read next!

beautiful quilt and so colorful! it will be fun to see what you come up with for girl colors; bet it will come out really nice! It is neat when you find an author and series that you enjoy reading! I'm reading a lot of Debbie Macomber's series she focuses with on Blossom Street and those are enjoyable to read
