Baby Picture Sunday

Playing along this week with Debi at Who Says 8 in Enough? on her Baby Picture Sunday.

Today's theme is - A Pool of Drool

So it might not be a complete Pool but it is Drool!

This was fun! I found a bunch of pictures as I was looking for drool pictures that I hadn't seen in a while. Love going through my pictures and looking around at how fast they are growing up!

Love Bug Craft

Missy at Two Little Monkey's posted this craft a few weeks back. I knew I wanted the boys to do it also because it is so darn cute!

We took a egg carton and cut it in to two pieces, which made the body of our bug!

Then we painted the love bug. Chase choose a purple color

and Cody a orange color.

We waited for them to dry, which took a couple of days because we didn't have time to complete the bug the next day.

But On Thursday night, we finished decorating them with some cute antenna's (pipe cleaners),
glue on goodies and pom poms. Chase had a blast decorating his. He wanted one of everything on it.
Cody didn't really care about finishing his, but we did get some eyes and pom poms on the bug. he turned out cute also!
Just wanted to share a valentine craft with everyone. Thanks Missy for passing on some great crafts to us for us to use and have fun with!!

Camera Fun

After we completed dinner last night, I got out the camera for just in case type pictures. The boys were playing really well together, jumping over paper towels, and playing their guitars, so thought I would have my camera ready for some good pictures.

Which lead to a mommy has the camera out lets hide game. There were a lot of picture taken of my kitchen cabinets which Chase was hiding behind and he would come out and I would *try* to take a picture of him. They were getting a kick out of this little game and t was fun to listen to them laugh so hard.

Here are some of the great smiles and just pictures of our fun!

Chase and his smile.
Chase coming out from hiding around the corner and I got the picture!

Snapped another one of him peaking out from around the corner!
Cody was way more serious about it and wanted to pose for pictures. So here is him just saying cheese and being goofy!

I am not quite sure what he is laughing so hard about but whatever it was was sure was funny. He would tell me "Mom, Chase is right there, take his picture." It was funny!

Two for Twos-day

Playing along with Debi for the Two for Tuesday picture.

Multiples and More blog posted a recipe a couple of weeks ago this recipe for Blueberry Coffee Cake.

We were bored at night a few weeks ago and I had all the ingredients, so we made the cake. The boys had a great time rolling the dough in the butter and the cinnamon/sugar.

The cake tasted very good afterwards also. I served it to them with some vanilla ice cream for desert. They liked it but really liked the vanilla ice cream better! I had some the next morning and it was very tasty and moist!

Here they are with the it before it went into the oven for cooking.

Makes My Monday

I am late tonight posting this. It was a busy day of playing, and getting some chore's done. I still wanted to play along with Cheryl and Makes My Monday!

Our highlight of our weekend was going to the Monster Truck Rally at Qualcomm Stadium. We had a great time! Our seats were very good and Chase and Cody did very good watching the performance.
Chase and I keeping busy between rounds of Monster Trucks!

Steve and Cody intensely watching the show!

One of the trucks, Bounty Hunter, jumping in the free style section of the show. I hadn't gone to a Monster Truck show in a few years, and it was fun and a good evening out with the boys. We had got to the stadium about 5:30 and the show ended around 10:30pm. It was a long evening but they sat still and watched the entire thing.

Monster Mut was Chase's favorite Monster Truck. It was probably mine also. It just looked so cute (is that an okay word for a Monster Truck?) when it jumped because it's ears would go a flying. The tail too, very funny!
It took all of about 5 minutes for Chase to fall asleep once in the car and Cody was asleep shortly after that.

Muffin Tin Monday, Magic Marker Monday

On Saturday morning, I put together a Muffin Tin Meal with breakfast. This weeks theme is

ABC / 123
It was a fun theme. Click the button below to play along or to see the other creative meals.

A is for Applesauce, B is for Bacon, C is for Cheese, 1 scrambled egg, 2 pieces of bacon, 3 pieces of toast.
They enjoyed their breakfast, even though it doesn't look like it in this picture!

With all the rain we have had this past week, at school the boys painted umbrella's.

New Boots

I found at Walmart yesterday, Chase and Cody's first pair of boots. I had been thinking it was about time that they should have a pair of cheap boots. I knew that once they would get them that would probably be the only shoe they wore.

When I opened the boxes of boots, they were so excited! They went and got their socks on and said they had to go to the rodeo.

Chase showing off his boots! He has black boots, because he is very much into black!

Cody and his boots. They make them look so much older! They love them and yes they will probably wear them to bed!

Way Back When-sday

This is Cody taking a bath.

The reason behind this picture this week is that Cody's favorite song right now is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse "Pluto's Bubble Bath" Song. Which goes something like this:

"When your in a bubble and you are floating along
singing dibble dabble dibble and floating along!"

This is while Mickey Mouse and Pluto is in a bubble in the air floating along.

He loves this song and also wants a bubble bath. We haven't done a bubble bath in a long time and he has requested me to get at the store some bubble bath so he can take a bubble bath like Pluto!

Two for Twos-day

Yesterday, we were stuck inside all day due to a huge rain storm that is moving through the area. So I needed to think how do I keep them entertained all day without being able to play outside in the dirt.

Just for these type of days I had bought a water painting book. I remember doing them as a child and when I found them at Michael's I was so happy. I brought out the water and the books

and they started to paint. At first, they didn't get that they didn't get to make a mess with real paint and not get it on their hands and fingers. I showed them how it worked. Chase loved it! He did one entire book of Mickey and Friends pages and would have done more if I had let him!

Cody on the other hand, thought it was just not physical enough for him and went back to jumping and running around. Asking if he could go outside and sneaking outside without any shoes, socks or a jacket on. He did after a while, "help" Chase finish his. But that was the only way that he would do it - was helping his brother get his project done.
Hopefully I have more projects like this that I can bring out for a bunches of rain headed our way!

Muffin Tin Monday

This week there was no theme for Muffin Tin Monday. I knew I wanted to get back into doing this every week, and knew on Friday that this was the way to do it.

Click the button below to see other great Tin Meals!

I just used on tray for both boys, and it worked great. They didn't fight over whose was what stuff or who got to have the tray closer to them.
I put apples, Carmel for dipping apples, yogurt covered pretzels, and spaghetti O's and Gatorade to drink.
They actually ate it all expect for some of the Speghetti O's. It was a good lunch! And they were excited to have another Muffin Tin Meal!

Makes My Monday

What Makes My Monday today is seeing my boys playing in the dirt and getting all dirty!

Chase and Cody found this pile of dirt a few weeks back in the back yard and have been playing in it all the time!
Chase at the top. The dirt is a white powder dirt... On Your Mark, GO!
Still sliding down... With clumps of what looks like rocks but are only dirt clods.
And a trick at the bottom! This dirt has kept the boys occupied for the last week!
Cody going down the hill on his belly!
It even kept the neighbors kids, Grace and Spencer, occupied on Friday when they came over to play in the dirt with Chase and Cody. The three boys had races on who climbed the fastest and who slide down the fastest. Most of the time when they slide down it looked something like this...One big clump of dirt.
They are differently dirty after playing in the dirt and it's fair share has made it into my house for me to clean, but it's worth it just to keep them occupied and outside! Outside in January, how awesome!
Now hoping this wonderful dirt will still be as wonderful after our 7" of rain this week.

The Jonas Brothers

My version of The Jonas Brothers!

This video was taken tonight. Sorry it is so dark. They are quite good singer's, aren't they?

6 Word Saturday

Started sewing and cross stitching again.
I haven't cross stitched I think, since I had the boys there just wasn't time. I haven't sewed in years before that. I started it again because since I am not working, I have a bunch of free time.

4. I called out "Mom's Home" when I arrived.
