Mud everywhere. Chase and Cody thought this is a great opportunity to have fun!
Mud on their toes and legs. They even got their shirt and shorts wet from some standing water in the open sandbox lid. This was their sandbox, which they have needed new sand for a few weeks, but they had a blast playing in this wet sandbox.
It was funny they so wanted to play in the mud, but anytime they got really muddy in the house they came to wash hands and faces and to change clothes. They said they were too muddy!
Yes, all the mud turned to dirt once inside my house and now I need to clean up the floors again! Oh well, what is a little boy without mud!

Fun! I once saw a quote that said the definition of a boy was "a loud noise with dirt on it". :o)

Definitely, they had a fun day.
we didn't get any rain, but my hubby was driving back yesterday through Riverside and got deluged
LOL; boys and mud go hand in hand! they live to splash in mud puddles and play in them :) and you got double the fun!
keep a hose handy and spray them down before they come in (just kidding on this one)
makes you wish you had a mud room like they had in some houses back east for just this reason (along with snow storms too :)

Mud! The best accessory to a day outside! Did they make mudcakes? My girls favorite!
Looks like lots of fun for the boys! (maybe not as much fun for the washing machine...LOL)
