Way Back Wednesday - Injury Alert! - Say What Wednesday!

We about a month away from desert season and we can't wait. Chase and Cody talk about going to the desert all the time! Lots of playing in the dirt and riding bikes!

As I was looking back through the years of pictures, found this one in my desert pictures. The boys got the laundry basket in the motorhome and had too sit in it, like all kids do.
I don't really think that this year that they will be sitting in the laundry basket in the motorhome. I am sure they will be very active and non-stop.

Yesterday, as I was signing the boys out of school, Chase told me that he had bumped his tooth. I look down and not only did he bump his tooth, but chipped it as well. I started asking him questions, "Where did you do it?" "The Castle." (Which is a big plastic play structure on the play ground.) I Asked "Did you cry?" "No." I asked a bunch of other questions, but nothing really came out of it- except a chipped tooth. So I am then asking the teachers for some answers, but no one had any. So now he has a second chipped tooth. Here is his picture from last night.

The right tooth had already been chipped from a fall on our tile about 1 year old or so. The left tooth now has a small point and is chipped on the inside part of the tooth. I will make him a dentist appointment for this week and make sure that the root is okay still.

I have a feeling that the dentist is really going to get to know us. With Cody's dark tooth and now two chipped teeth with Chase. This might be the beginning of a long road of dentist appointments! I am glad that it is only dentist appointments and nothing more serious.

Cody had just walked into the wall and stubbed his toe. I had given him a kiss and told him he was fine. Chase brought him a piece of ice for his toe, and was applying it to the injured toe. He tells Cody that "Cody, you have to be careful, and watch what you are doing." Yes spoken just like his mom.

Love the laundry basket photo.

Poor little guy and his other chipped tooth. Anytime my son falls, I just follow it up with, "boys will be boys"

stopping by from Way back When.

how cute with the boys in the laundry basket!! you are right, this year I'm sure they are going to want to be very active once you are out at the dessert

sorry about Chase's injury; I guess boys will be boys; they do tend to play pretty hard at times; better prepare yourself for visits to the ER too (hopefully not a lot of them)

too cute with Chase helping his brother giving him the ice to make his oowie feel better! at least you know Chase is listening to you :)

Thanks for playing along!
Ouch! on the chipped tooth! Boys are so tough & girls are so dramatic - my girls would have been crying!

Waiting for the first stitches over here. I have no doubt that with a house full of boys I'm screwed and will be well known in the emergency room. Sigh.
