They both walked semi-quitely to the stage with the rest of the 3 years olds that were to sing.

Niether one of them cried.
And they sang and danced their heart out!

They all did a great job...Here is a video of one of the songs that they performed.

Here are some pictures of the fun.

Christmas Morning

Both of the boys were in our bed Christmas Morning, when they woke up, Steve asked them, What is today? And Chase responded Christmas. Steve asked what happens on Christmas? And Cody responded "Well it didn't snow." Well yeah Cody, we kind of live in a place that doesn't get snow any time of the year and not on Christmas!
Chase also said Santa comes, but still didn't quite get what Santa would bring. I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted, of course. Chase was the first one up too see our tree and the presents under it.
We opened our stockings, and found toothbrushes, candy and socks. Chase and Cody got some play musical instruments.
We got ready to go to Steve's parents house for Christmas morning and Christmas dinner. Here is their tree when we walked in.
Big quads and big dinosaurs were the main focus here. The boys were so excited!!

After dinner at around 2pm, we came home and the boys were able to open more Santa gifts. They were kind of out of the mood by then and really just wanted to play with the wrapped boxes and stack them here and there. They opened a few and one of their favorites was their guitars.

Yes, Santa brought them play guitars, but he didn't manufacturer them very well and they have already started to fall apart. They haven't put these guitars down since they opened them. So, I think mom well have to find some better made guitars for these two.

They are dancing and singing the everyone, including their big dinosaurs. I need to get it on video.

The boys never finished opening packages on Christmas, they were still way to busy playing with there guitars to continue, so the opening went well into Saturday. Makes Christmas fun to spread it out over a few days!

Putting our cookies out for Santa

We won't be home until late tonight and the boys will probably fall asleep in the car ont he way home, so I decided I have them put thier cookies and carrots out this morning for Santa. This is Cody's choice for Santa.

This is Chase's choice for Santa

Here are the boys looking at the cookies and wanting them. I tell them they are for Santa and they can't have them...Still taking the sprinkles off of them.
The boys standing by thier plate of cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer!

This is a good picture considering Mickey Mouse was on!
Hope everyone have a great Christmas Eve!!

Seeing Santa!

We went to see Santa a couple of weeks ago and just now getting up the pictures for everyone to see. The trip didn't go very well as you can see by the pictures. We were invited by Santa to go to a private viewing of him which benefited a friends Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk Fund Raiser. I thought that this would be a better setting then at a mall or someplace crowded.

Going into this both of them said that they would talk to Santa, not sit on his lap. But they really do any talking either.

Mrs. Clause, Santa and Cody. Cody loved Santa's bells, but wouldn't talk to him and kept running away with the bells.
Chase finally did give Santa knuckles, but he wouldn't talk either. And no way sitting on his lap!
I sat down in front of Santa thinking that they would also but they wouldn't even do that. We eat a candy cane and tried again but they would only wave from a distance that time.

We were one of the first people there to see Santa and I think that the man was just very intimidating without more kids around to copy.
We have seen Santa other places since then, like the mall, but I ask them do you want to go and see Santa again and they both say No!
So maybe next year! Well see!

Way Back When-sday

Going back in my memory with this great picture of Chase and Cody when they were

6 months old. This was the picture on our Christmas cards the year of 2006. I took these pictures of the boys and actaully it turned out cute! I had a big enough box that I had set them inside and put other gift wrapped boxes around them. It was fun!

Merry Christmas!

Two for Twos-day

Today is Tuesday and of course, I am presenting my Two for Twos-day picture!

My Aunt Kathy bought Chase and Cody these Mickey Mouse Christmas Jammie's! They love them. They couldn't wait to wear them and want to wear them every night!
Everything Mickey Mouse goes in our house right now and Aunt Kathy did good with these. They will wear them for Christmas Eve to get a good night sleep for Santa!

One of the many out takes of pictures that we took just to get a some what decent picture of Mickey Mouse Jammie's!
Thank you Aunt Kathy for making our night times so much more comfy.

Makes My Monday

On Saturday night, was our 2nd year of going to the Del Mar Holiday of Lights. This is a huge display of Christmas lights on the infield of the horse racing track.

We got there around 7pm, and had to wait in about a 30 minute line. You stay in your car the entire time. The kids are able to get out of seat belts and ride in the front with dad and grandpa. Dad even let Chase and Cody "drive"!
The lights are spectacular to look at. The kids have so much fun. It's fun to go there since they love looking at lights.
There over 100 displays of lights, I think I read somewhere. Some of them animated like this one below.
The reindeer jumping over the Christmas tree.
Seeing Christmas lights and seeing the kids face as they point out Santa Clause and Rudolph Makes my Monday!
