Looking at Christmas Lights

On Sunday night I told Chase and Cody that we could go and see Christmas lights around the neighborhood. They really like looking at all the lights and the inflatable Santa and Snowmen.

I also had an plan to go to a house across town that had a lot of lights, it was featured in the local newspaper saying that it had a working train and Santa was giving train rides to all the kids. I wanted to see that also. The weather has a little chilly about 48 degrees.

Cody standing in front of the train tracks and the reindeer display. The lights and the house were beautiful.
They had a lot of lights and displays everywhere.

Right before we got there the train came off it's train track and while we were there they weren't able to fix it. It kept coming off. We are going to try to go back but the owners weren't going to be home. So we didn't get to ride the train and Chase and Cody were very disappointed, but the lights were pretty anyways!

Good picture of Chase and Cody standing in front of the light display.

We had fun that night just looking at lights around the neighborhood.

We LOVE to do this!! Isn't it so fun to see the wonder on your kids' faces as they see all the lights. You got wonderful photos--I have a hard time with night-time shots.

oh my gosh, that is a lot of work that family did! too bad Cody/Chase didn't get to ride the train (maybe next year???) I think it is always fun to go and look at the lights especially with little kids; its fun to watch them enjoying the lights :)

That is SO cool that someone would go that far to decorate! WOW! Sad that the train wasn't running :(
