Christmas Tree Purchasing / Two for Twos-day

I am using this picture as my Two for Twos-day picture!

Standing in front of our beautiful Christmas tree... as the story continues...

Cody standing perfectly good for a picture. Something that lately he has been wanting to do. He will even say cheese.

It seems like to run around a Christmas tree farm, thank god it was fenced in, was the greatest thing ever! The second best thing was to hide from mom and dad while shopping for Christmas tree and giggle and run the other way from them. Good thing that we were the only one's there and they weren't bothering anyone.

On the way to the Christmas tree farm, Cody was telling me that he wanted to baby tiny tree and Chase wanted a BIG tree, something that daddy would have to cut and use a saw on to get it into our house.

So when Cody found this little tree, he was set and ready to go...until he found the mud...

look at his knees. Yes, did I mention that we had got about 1.5" of rain the night and morning before we went to the dirt Christmas Tree Lot. Did you know that a lot of dirt turns to a lot of mud when put rain to it? Well, Chase and Cody had a blast playing with the Christmas tree's and the mud!

What could be better then a awesome smile once we had picked out our Christmas tree and were ready to go! Oh by the way, when we got the tree home did we realize that the tree we settled on had a tinted purple flocking on it not just a white flocking on it! It is still a pretty tree.

interesting with the purple tint! I saw a report on the news the other day about this guy here somewhere who flocks his trees all sorts of colors, purple, pink, yellow, etc. I bet the purple is a nice touch!

what a cute story with getting the tree. good way to run some energy off of them though since we had all that rain (except for the mud part, but boys will be boys :)

sounds like a wonderful adventure for you all :)
