MOTHER’S DAY by Del "Abe" Jones
Another year without Mom
And She’s surely missed, a lot
The years pass to ease the pain
Plus, memories of Her, I’ve got.
There’s no time like the present
To tell your Mother, "You're the best!"
For, too soon, before you know it
She too, may be laid to Rest.
Time is not a friend to us
Or to those Moms, we Love
And, it’s so hard to speak to them
When, they’re somewhere up above.
So, this Mother’s Day, take some time
To reflect, tell Mom, “I love you!”
For some day, She won’t be there
To do what, only Moms can do.
Don’t wait until it’s too late
For, you know, we never know
When She might be taken from us
Then, it’s too late, to tell Her so.
Today, I am spending it with family, my grandmother (which is like a mother to me), my mother-in-law (which is the greatest mother-in-law that I could ask for) and the most wonderful Grammy! We will be having brunch with good food and lots to drink!
Here's to you having a great Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to you. I'm sure your Mom is so proud of you, and watching over you and the boys all the time. She was wonderful, and I miss her too.
Sniffles. I wish I could give you a hug. I'm glad you have so much support in your family in times like these. Happy Mother's Day.
