Writer's Workshop & Giveaway

Okay so when I went over to Mama Kat's "Mama Losin' It" to find out what this weeks prompts were for her writing assignments I got very Giddy. You can go click the picture to see the other prompts and the other players.

I was already thinking of someway to introduce my new hobby and give one away. What a better way to do it. The last couple of weeks I have been very excited over this and my new craft and when I read #3 assignment I said that's what I have been feeling...Giddy!!

I found this tutorial on one of my favorite blogger's, Grosgrain, for a tutu. I knew I had to make one for my niece. It turned out so cute that I made 2 other ones. One for my neighbor's twin girl for her birthday
and the other for my follow blogger's to be given away.

They are so much fun to make, so I am thinking of making them for anyone who wants them for $12. So in my mind, I have been very giddy about this project. Something to do with my extra time, while I am watching the boys play outside, or just when I want to relax and make tutu's. I am just so Giddy as I type this, I can hardly stand it!
So the giveaway is for this tutu...

It measures about 19-20 inches around the waist, which I think turns out to be a 2T-3T, but it is elastic so it will stretch. The length is about 13 inches with some longer and some shorter.

To win this Tutu:

**Leave me a comment telling me you would like to win this for one entry.

Extra entries:

**Blog about my giveaway by linking my website to your post - 3 entries

**Follow me on blogger or if you already do - 1 entry

Again, this project has really made me GIDDY. I hope you are all as GIDDY as I am with this giveaway!!

Thanks Mama Kat for hosting such a great writing assignment this week!!

Adorable tutus! Makes me (somewhat) wish that I had a girl. Coming from another family with twin boys, plus another. :)

Very cute project indeed! I'm having a boy or I'd try for the giveaway. My latest art project is jazzing up burb cloths and making soft sole shoes. Gotta love being crafty!

Oh I love the tutu! It's so stinkin cute. I've been wanting one for Breelyn for when she gets older. And they are great gift ideas. I will do all of the following for the entries. I'm going to go see the Grosgrain site too. I would love to learn how to make these.

I would love to win this tutu. My little one would look so cute running around in it. I may have to read the tutorial and learn how to make them if I don't win.

I can see why you are giddy!!! Can you make them for a grown woman who wears a size 12? I'd love a tutu -- I miss the one I used to have. Of course, I won't look as good in a leotard as I used to ! ; )
