We had one busy, busy weekend. I will start at Friday, both Steve and I were off work we met some friends down by Mission Bay and off we went on another bike ride. This time we had the kids in a trailer behind Steve's bike. They had so much fun in the trailer. They were able to see a lot of water and boats, some fish and birds. (I didn't get any pictures of them in the trailer or us on the bike trail, I will next time.) The weather was perfect when we started out our ride but the weather soon turned very cold and windy while trying to eat dinner. We still had a great time. By the time we got back over to our vehicles it was perfect timing for the Friday night viewing of the fireworks, we sat on the beach and watched.
Cody kept telling Steve that the fireworks looked like pizza's! He really liked the big boom fireworks!
Chase really liked the fireworks, he was so memorized that he couldn't say anything!
It was a beautiful display of fireworks. The city did a great job.
On Saturday, we went to my cousins parents house for a awesome BBQ and pool party. Chase and Cody have some how turned into fishes once we arrived. They stayed in the pool (or spa) for 5 hours straight. They loved it.
They both went down the water slide with dad. Cody even did it by himself!

We had some great food and fabulous friends to spend the holiday with, it was a great time. When we left the party, the boys were asleep in about 10 minutes.

that is a cool pool! looks like you all had a delightful weekend! when my kids were young, I always enjoyed watching them watching fireworks; the looks on their faces are always so priceless!
